Shizuko, it is fine to eat as much cake as you want. You move around a lot anyway, so no need to worry about being fat (in fact why do they even included that?).

As much as I want to criticize those women for badmouthing Shizuko, they aren't really wrong about her not attending the womenfolk (besides Nohime and her companions, Oichi and her maids). Wish the author could let her be more around female characters next time (that are not her maids or related to Oda). Perhaps Tachibana Ginchiyo or Ii Naotora? Or Okuni.

I don't know why people are surprised about Nobunaga's intention of letting Shizuko adopted his child. This was mention in one of the earlier chapter, when he and Mori were discussing about how to protect her + not allowing her to marry into another clan (chapter 55).

A kitten's cuteness should not be used to excuse skipping work missy. Especially since other maids are busy serving the guests.

I wonder who that spy is? How careless the Oda for allowing her inside Shizuko's new house despite the talk about her new house being more secure than her old one.

I hope you just don't dig this "yado inn fanatics" again. Time and time again, people has been pointing out the problem with others taking over is the quality, with bad image quality and even worse language and type setting. Since this is a historical manga, it demands some respect and quality.

I've been reading gold scale's releases as well as the forum comments, in general people has no problem and even praised the quality. This is what others should strive for.

I will not comment on yado inn issues (lateness etc). However, if the alternative is garbage, then rightfully people would tell them to go off. The "kinda ok" ones just do it one off when not one saying it's bad, you'd wonder what's their real goal, most likely just to bask in glory being a false saviour.

Now that yado inn has officially signed off and we have caught up to the raws, this should be no longer an issue. As such, just enjoy the read. There is no need for needless griefing. Afterall, in the beginning, yado inn did bring this manga to our attention, 7 years ago. Can you even keep up doing something for 7 years? At the very least, don't just write them off.

Same with people complaining the copy paste art, can you keep up doing this for years? People age and may not be able to keep the deadline without some shortcuts. The tech is there. Even Akira Toriyama cheats in the end, notice all the fights are mostly in wasteland.

I know because my work involves grading books and papers, I can no longer do it like a decade ago when I was fresh. Officially I am an old person now, just inching into 40s, can't stay up beyond 11 and have to wake up by 5, it sucks. Caffeine wrecks my kidney and my stomach so weakened that if I eat wrong I'll get diarrhea for days then my butthole just rips then I have to apply ointment.Sad because mentally I still think like I'm still in my 20's, wdym P3 Fes is retro now people are complaining it's unplayable, as well as OG RE4 just because you can't run while aiming?

Can't help, but feel Nohime is a bit unfair towards the haters. Yes they are jealous, but kinda important to remember that none of them had a chance at getting Shizukos upbringing, in regards to education and chance at doing what Shizuko does.
Even if you account for Nohime not knowing that Shizuko is from the future, it's still obvious she didn't get the traditional education all these other women got. So we don't even know if they could be competent at stuff outside their upbringing.
Would be more shocking if they weren't jealous of all that.

If Shizuko spends 2-3 years raising a child, that will seriously slow down the momentum of what she can provide nobunaga. It'll end up being great for other sectors of society, but it's not yet the right timing if Nobunaga is still waging war.

So receiving an adopted heir is closer to a political requirement, same with being adopted herself.

Personally, I do think that getting married would be a good thing after japan is truly unified. They need SOME peace for the new technologies to penetrate and logistics to form for naval construction. On the other hand, I'm not versed on the politics and geology of natural resources, if there's any near Japan that Nobunaga urgently needs to secure at the expense of their neighbours.

That "child" is actually a pre-teen, and he also already got basic education. So Shizuko's parenting job is mostly training him to be her successor rather than raising a kid from scratch

Wrong. One of the earlier alternative scanlator has better tl than Yodo Inn (they were studying Japanese and took the exam). But instead of being grateful, the fanatics attacked and harassed them, to the point that they stopped tl altogether. I was there and witnessed the situation myself.
