We wouldn't know because he never came across with all this knowledge and inventions Shizuko brings, but yeah, he "had a thing" for the West. Part of his myth comes from this, he had good relations with foreigners like jesuits.
It's thanks to this that we have a good non-shitty "portrait" of him.

@alacaelum Nobunaga was a meritocratic conservative who was very open to foreign ideas. He wasn't open minded as far as we know. In fact, he appeared to have been very opinionated and inflexible in his political views. However, he was very receptive of foreign ideas as long as he could twist them to his ends. The real Nobunaga would never have given a woman reign over a village. The proper way of doing this was to keep her in his harem and test out her advice.

This, btw, was what Date Masamune did in real history with his Spanish concubine. The Spanish missionaries frequenting Masamune's court gave him a highly-educated Spanish woman who may have been an Italian courtesan (we don't know for sure), so Masamune kept her as a concubine and used her knowledge and education to reform Sendai's economy and deal with foreigners on an equal basis. Real Nobunaga would have done the same.

@Panino @sssr Thank you for the insight, the real version is more or less what i could guess with a little filtration on the fiction troupes, but the photograph and the bit about the spanish concubine give a better understanding of real past events and course of actions.

Nobunaga had a respectable mustache.

I'm pretty sure Vietnam, Singapore and Best Korea also use this system. Basically all sinic countries do.
Worst Korea did too then they decided to shred all the information a decade ago.

Thought for a second that chamaru had been transported to modern times because of the signboard.

The actual answer to "why do you spread 'your' knowledge like this, Shizuko?" is because she's a stupid isekai character that doesn't think of the consequences. At least she can't help them make nukes and self-destruct.

@Andiza She could have limited how much of the knowledge from her time she spreads. Even one or two things would have been enough. She simply wants to provide everything she knows with no thought of the consequences.

@Archomp

Family registers in China are very in-depth.

My family has 3 physical copies, 2 kept at two separate temples in Taiwan, one in Philippines. I was given the generational name "King" (pronounced ching) that identified the specific generation I belong to. My daughter and son received "Ing" identifying theirs, however given that this is an old practice, and that access to the family registers are tightly controlled, my children may be the last ones of my family to receive generational names from the family register.

I can only assume Japan's is of a similar nature, since they used to be all "COPY CHINA'S HOMEWORK" before going "WE AHR NUMBAH WAN"

This confuses things even more. So she's giving knowledge for free so it'll be fair everywhere? She wont work for one party? I think that's kinda good i guess? At least she's not technically being used as she's giving it to everyone

But is she thinking about the consequences? Idk
