Look at that 9 rating for an otherwise unknown series! Will try this out. Thank you scans group for working on this!

Remind me of Nobunaga no Chef, that one is focused on cooking and this one is focused on agricultural. Both manga has very similar plot that they are about time travel to the past in the Sengoku Era, and both MCs are served under Oda Nobunaga (to be fair, used by him lol). I am curious if these two authors going to stick to history (easy way) or change it as the story progresses (bold move that could make the story becomes better or bad) but overall both are very good and I would highly recommended to read them.

The summary doesn't really explain what this manga is actually about.

It's about girl who goes to an agricultural school who gets transmigrated to the sengoku period with some modern day seeds and lands before Oda Nobunaga. She is then entrusted with the task of producing a bountiful harvest as the chief of a village that hasn't been able to reach their required amount for a few years now. If she fails, she dies, if she succeeds, she gets rewarded.

The whole idea of "Survive the Sengoku era" isn't really there for me, since she's pretty much given a safe place to stay almost immediately. It's not about survival, it's about farming. Although I guess that should've been obvious if I looked at the meaning of the title in English " A Tale of a Small Town hardship in Sengoku Era - An Agriculture Comic".

interesting manga! the characters have charmed me, and the art style is very good, especially the detail of people's faces. i think this story perpetuates the fallacy of constant progress -- it's weird how goddess-like shizuko is in this situation by virtue of being born centuries later, when there would likely be many things that sengoku era people knew how to do that a modern girl wouldn't -- but it also subverts the trope of "helpless highschool girl falls back in time / into another world" in an interesting way. i like the perspective of an agricultural school student in a time travel story! i also enjoy seeing a plucky girl succeed at things while teaching me some tech history of the past few hundred years.

How is this series so good? Easily one of the best manga I've read so far this year.

Starting out pretty good though that shot with the crossbow was ridiculous. To difficult to hit as a small deviation can easily lead to a missed shot or bolt glancing off the skull. With actual hunting you aim just behind the shoulder trying to hit the heart and lungs.

Oh god I love mangas like this to bad they are so rare but it's pretty solid all the way through it gets a bit wordy at times and the worse part is having to remember all these names and faces I actually made a lil booklet
