The face the demon brat is making while Naga uses his precious blade as a chainsaw. Priceless.
Ok, educate me on this. What do today's kids consider to be the point where it's ok to take over a series that another group is working on. As far back as I can remember, it's always been three months.
Not sure myself. I've read a ton of 🏴☠️ manga, so I've only gleaned translator norms from these comment sections.
So let's consider the facts for series specifically:
- Fearlessblue has been working on it from the start
- Fearlessblue is the only one working on it, at least here in MangaDex
- Fearlessblue has been working on it for a year and has been consistent
- As the other guy said, we are 3 chapters behind, which isn't far.
- Not a "fact" per se, but I have no complaints about the translations so far.
I really only complain about sniping from bad translators, yet I personally don't have problems with the translation in this chapter.
I know being "loyal" to a translator group/individual is kinda silly since we're all reading pirated manga translated for free most of the time (or free chapters from official manga), but it makes sense to stick to a translator if you want the translation (quality and style-wise) to be a consistent experience.
But if another group beats another group to the punch before my preferred translator, I'm gonna read
that first. I might even skip reading the uploads from my preferred translators since "I already read" the chapter. The problem is if my preferred translators stop translating it
because of that reason, and then later on the snipers get bored of the series. Finally, no one updates the series anymore, which, now that I think about it, is probably the real reason some people have problems with snipers.
And this translator has only THIS chapter uploaded in his entire account so... definitely a sniper. 😅
