Well, it was a question asked by someone who's never held a weapon in their hands, so it makes perfect sense.
But yea, swords have nothing on spears and polearms even as far as their "combat power" goes. (What a cringy way of putting it by the way)

@-musouka- @Askorti This is a series with fighting spirit and probably even magic, so real world physics will only loosely apply. It is entirely possible that sword is better than a spear in the context of this world for some reason or another that hasn't been explained yet.
