Also, I'm in a bad position-- I understand that the green fingernail probably had a specific meaning (and I know what it would be, don't worry) but I aggressively couldn't have cared less over its entire tenure. Maybe it's because I already acknowledged the heavier hints and having the green fingernail touted (by at least one person) as a major indicator, at the time it was to me, made me roll my eyes at it altogether.

Somehow, with it in the rear view mirror, it comes off to me as heavy-handed symbolism. I'll probably mellow out on it.
