Rather that going only in one direction it will be better to split into 2 branch of storywhen will they get expelled? it would be more interesting to watch their evil side
PoliticsWouldn't this make so much more sense to have the assassin's kill the professors that are expelling people for basically no reason because they think it makes people better?
If the whole problem is the expulsion, seems like theres an easy fix to this? (especially if youre talking about the fate of the nation)
There's a ton of problem with this though:Wouldn't this make so much more sense to have the assassin's kill the professors that are expelling people for basically no reason because they think it makes people better?

That part's quite obvious from the chapter, why he's so insistent on Offensive spells though is the bigger question here.Hmm. Dante surviving to the end. Wouldn't that imply defensive magic is more his forte? If he said he just did it without thinking then protecting people might just be natural to him
I think the hint lies in the letters he received. From what I can gather, it seems like he often exchanged letters with family members or someone close. Dante appears to be a prideful character, and it’s possible that he’s bragging about his magic in the letters. If you notice, he also seems insistent on making his weapon look bigger. That part's quite obvious from the chapter, why he's so insistent on Offensive spells though is the bigger question here.
This is why I'm starting to despise authors and mangaka who can't even half-ass the governments their central plot hook revolves around. They work so hard to make the audience view the ruling body negatively that they forget it needs to actually function in the first place. There's a ton of problem with this though:
- Solo, Rose & a few others are actually the minority in wanting to prevent the expulsion, the majority (in the Magic Bureau) wants to eliminate Class D, and speaking from a Lawful Evil sense that is actually the easy fix.
- While they are problematic in fostering the environment at the Magic School, they also technically haven't done anything wrong enough to warrant getting assassinated, the problem is with the system anyways.
- Solo actually doesn't think too badly of said system since the real world won't be too lenient and would rather focus on teaching Class D, and I seriously doubt Rose would be stupid enough to give the OK to do such a thing, if they were to do such a thing they would get purged in response, and the aforementioned majority would probably eliminate Class D to be safe.
- Assassinating them wouldn't even guarantee saving Class D, the massive incident that will be caused by eliminating the teachers (which also includes the principal of the school) will instead cause the school to shutdown, and considering that its implied that Dante is struggling with finding his specialty and may instead voluntarily leave the school, won't even guarantee that he won't become evil, basically Correlation isn't Causation.
- Adding onto this, some of the students' reason for being expelled isn't even the teachers' fault anyways, as Miiko's reason is a transformation going out of control & presumably damaging the school and Shao's reason being insufficient attendance, both of which can happen even if the professors were nicer and weren't using Class D as a punching bag.
True. Although, it's not that his weapons look bigger, b4 Solo took over, he always makes bigger weapons, but they're less sturdy due to his lack of skill. Solo would probably be able to make even bigger weapons but still be strong.I think the hint lies in the letters he received.
