@tenshineko Agreed. Student/Teacher relationships are very romanticized in manga and other fiction. The teacher is a good character to hit them with a dose of reality.

They owe me one,
he thinks as he accepts the consequences of allowing them to work through a problem that he himself caused in the first place. Sure, their relationship is questionable at best and any half-decent friend would feel obligated to warn them of the dangers, but he did it in such a douchey way for such a douchey reason and almost screwed them over.
What an asshole.

i don't know why some people is saying that the male teacher is a good thing...if he did things to protect the fmc as he was saying the best thing he should do is talk it with the female teacher and not treathen a kid...seriously blackmailing someone shows how low you can be and being the adult one here shows how fuck up that male teacher was...he isn't concerned with the fmc to begin with what he is after is to insert himself if the mc and fmc broke up...he just got got caught for what he did that lead him to just support them cause she will never pick him even if they broke up

this manga is based from many different levels, I think this is the first time we've seen a multi-based manga in over 2000 years

@sintas22 problem is that he didn't blackmail or threaten him in any way. he says pretty clearly in this chapter that he has no intentions of telling anybody about it. he's more just reminding him of the reality of the situation and what it could mean for her. you're right that he should have gone about it differently, but you're misrepresenting the situation.

@pik3rob lol saying that he will ruin her life so he must stay away is treathening already and he just said he has no intention of telling cause he got caught by riko...if he really got no bad intention then why he would say that "maybe the next one is a fair fight"...he wants her thats his intention he isn't even her friend to begin with...he is just an aquintance...he is just a playboy who wants to conquer her and not a friend who cares

@sintas22 saying that Arase's relationship with her can possibly ruin her life by jeopardizing her career isn't a threat. It's a conclusion that's very possible. If he wants to be with Rinko then doing something to get her fired isn't in his best interest. If she gets fired because of him, she'll likely hate him, and they'll likely never meet again as the only reason they communicate is because they work at the same place. He doesn't exactly have good intentions, but he doesn't intend on doing anything that would hurt her career.

Like @pik3rob was saying, the male teacher isn't threatening/blackmailing Arase but warning him, aka the voice of reason

BUT THE POWER OF LOVE AND AFFECTION WILL PREVAIL!

@PantsuKami and @pik3rob do you even understand that he intentionally put pressure on the boy by just saying he will ruin her life so he must stay away...its basically guilt tripping him that it will be his fault if the teacher gets fired...instead of telling the riko which is the adult of the two he targeted the boy...the teacher saying"a teacher fooling around a student" as a pretense of their discussion is the same as saying i have you both on the neck while "the burden of responsibility will fall on rinko's shoulder", "do you want to ruin her life " and" if you really care about rinko..then you should stop getting involved with her" is not a simple just a simple warning...thats a guilt tripping tactic that makes someone think that he got no other choice...if shithead didn't slipped out words when they are drinking his plan would be gauranteed to succeed...he is so low that he has to deal with dirty tactic againts a child...good thing rinko spashed a drink to that shithead that fucker deserved it

@sintas22 He talked to Arase about it because unlike Rinko he's not as likely to be aware of the consequences, and he was pretty much right given his reaction. Guilt tripping is probably a bit more accurate than threatening, but at the same time nothing he really said throughout that scene was false in that that is exactly what would happen if the truth came out. He's urging him in a direction sure, but it's hardly a scene where he's like "I'll tell people about you and her if you don't back off" because he never said that.

1. he is not rinko's friend he is just an aquintance...do you try menddle with your acquintance relationship?
2.rinko knows the risk...thats why she said she is the bad guy when she splashed the drink to that fuckers face.
3.he is not concerned of rinko...he is after the benefit that he would have if they broke up.
4. a good adult don't pressure a child...
5.if he is concerned about their situation he could talk to rinko or both of them together and not guilt trip a child.
6. he just said that he will not tell anyone about them cause he got caught...even if he go tell anybody now he will not gain anything anymore instead he is in a situation that if he talks he will be not making enemy of rinko only but also her friend...
6.what the teacher did whe he said "a teacher fooling around a student" is the same as ones that police use to make criminal confess...by saying that he knows what they are doing he removes his choices...his choice become either you listen and do this volunatary or somebody will force you to do it...that is called psychilogical threats
