despite being bi I’m not really a fan of the boy love genre in general, I’m hopeful the author handles it more tactfully than most. Though with their track record the last two arcs I’m actually looking forward to seeing what they do with this.

Going to make a shot-in-the-dark guess about this arc. Asahi's going to try and find validation through seeking men romantically because women keep breaking up with him in rather harsh ways. This is going to lead him to abusing the people he's courting out of a desire to be loved romantically.

Same, you can tell most of it is made for straight women. A big sign of that is the overwhelming appearance of heteronormativity, which like, why.

but all jokes aside, I'm actually looking forward to this. I really enjoyed the previous two arcs, so hopefully author-san delivers on this one as well.

Honestly, I don't get to see many queer characters out of BL/GL genre and certainly a good amount who make it out of their intended genre just fall into another trope (e.g. "Stalker lesbian"). So, I hope the author can handle his character carefully, I do expect him to do a good job considering his last two arcs have been pretty well written.

The first arc was great but it kinda collapsed at the end. The second arc never reached the peak of the first arc but it was still interesting. The third arc seems like it would be a story about an asexual person trying to understand himself by trying different type of love(?). If the author can write it properly, it could be very interesting.

Alright author, I'll give you a chance. Show me you can portray gay/bi people in a non fetishistic, non tropey way and you'll get full marks on this manga.

Honestly I was not expecting this to be the direction of Asahi's arc so I'm really curious to see how it plays out. Has a lot of potential.
