Cool how in one chapter the mangaka has refused to include one of the dumbest tropes I see in manga, which is how people are unable to be friends with people of the sex they're attracted to, and uses it to make a point against the gay panic of "Oh my god this guy is gay so he must wanna fuck me"
Also as a bi guy it's kinda cool to see an actual bi protagonist in a manga.

This arc can be summarised as "A gay ass boyfailure falls in love with a straight playboy" and it sounds something straight out of a Yaoi Erotica, lol.
Probably because this arc is pretty much standard fare Yaoi. The previous characters's arcs felt more realistic, this reads like the author just wanted to write some BL now.

All three arcs can easily be basis for erotica: a guy with previous experience with an adult and an innocent sheltered girl, and a fan entering into a relationship with his oshi.

The difference between smut and this series is the lack of on-page action, and the angle it's taking of the effect it has on these Sensitive Boys.

It really is about the optics. I've seen so many of these tropes and themes in hentai dojin, yet Sensitive Boy reframes them with a grounded human element.

While the dialogue might sometimes be a bit too wordy at times, I'm just fucking amazed a manga is taking these kind of topics with good intentioned straight forwardness.

Never read yaoi or BL before and I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying it so far
Zettai BL pokes fun at the tropes if you don’t mind some humor , I think
Some modern day live actions have prolly gotten better than it was 15 years ago, Kinou Nani tabeta I enjoyed but it was more of a food aspect of like a couple happening to live together than anything too “flirty”

Thanks for the chapter lol I feel like using the word “date” might also be a bit leading versus just a “normal/platonic” hangout bc new boy prolly needs supportive ppl in his life that aren’t a romantic interest , maybe he’ll eventually introduce him to the other friends

Bruhhhhhhhhhh you better let him be happy, author! You can't crush his heart after he's so excited and happy.

This type of story fits the art better. Nothing heavy, just a regular run-of-the-mill potboiler BL romance.

Author seems to know their way better in this type of story rather than the hamfisting they’ve been doing in this series so far, too.

Okay so Asahi strikes me as egregiously grey-ace lol.
I admit having had no ability to feel attraction I also accepted relationships out of a weird sense of obligation. I was drawn to my now husband but didn't become physically attracted to him until later on in our relationship.

I think Asahi is basically experiencing the beginnings of attraction for the first time and is still in high-school, so of course he's gonna be awkward and insensitive, but he is very sincere!

I wouldn't call Asahi straight, there's a reason homosexuality is the topic this time with his arc

It feels sweet but considering some of the arcs of this manga... I couldn't have expected more.
