I honestly don't think it's that much detail to say "I was sexually harassed as a middle schoolers" especially when their last encounter was him having a severely negative reaction to her touching him.

Like yes, if he actually goes into detail, it might be too much but admitting the cause of his reaction and letting her know how that may effect future interactions because he wants to be in a relationship is honestly a very mature move.
