So her surroundings caused an instinctive negative effect towards any sexual related topic as it’s „not pure“, „vulgar“, something that is also very far away from her.
She lived in her bubble not paying any attention to it until she finds out that her boyfriend was also part of this world and therefore she involuntarily entered the world outside her bubble. This causes her so much distress that she does not know how to behave and the natural „fleeing“ instinct hits her trying to evade the problem and run away from it.

The lack of maturity won’t allow her to talk about these things with her boyfriend so she can’t realize that they have all the time in the world to figure things out for herself.

It’s a very realistic portray of how a story like this can go down. Let’s see if they can make it or just end up going their separate way. I don’t know so far if she’s a FMC or just one of the many people MC encounters through his time past the incident. The title suggests that it’s about the MC, despite having many chapters focused on the girlfriend now

In a way her Mom contributed to her superficial idea of a relationship being similar to a shoujo manga.
She wasn't even bad, though.

She told her that she's not supposed to go in an 18+ area of a store (because she isn't), and she tuned off someone talking about her sexual history in middle school. At worst, the latter may be slightly prudish, but she wasn't incorrect when she called it "vulgar and silly".

I guess in chapter 9, if we suppose she wasn't just flipping channels, she tuned off from a movie she was watching for a while until the point where the man and woman were about to kiss... but she still lets her daughter read shoujo manga that would have much of the same, so maybe it wasn't that those two actors were just going to kiss.

Until I see further evidence, it reads like the mother is normal, and Tsubasa didn't connect enough dots early enough in life to realize that her dad had sex with her mom. I still very much sympathize with her-- she really wants this to work out and her ingrained desires and presuppositions are causing her to betray her conscious desires, but I really think this is something that almost entirely has to do with specifically Tsubasa and not "society" or even "her mom".

we went from Sensitive Boy x Cheerful Girl to Sensitive Boy x Sensitive Girl huh /j

it’s getting interesting despite the girl always being keep from those vulgar thing since kid. getting confused at her age rn and doubt herself if the relationship she had with Kaede is normal or not.
Someone needs to tell her having healthy relationship with your bf/gf without having lust in their mind is still normal (and far more wholesome)

This is definitely not as extreme as I thought it was going to be and feels really realistic. I actually like this arc quite a bit. This manga never ceases to surprise me with how good the quality of the writing is.

To be honest, it's not even her fault. She just didn't know anything about these things.

Brace yourselves, is not over yet.
Still, the next episode may cause you to be annoyed or fully rage at her
Next chapter spoilers! read at your own risk, and trigger warning for some.
The Chapter opens up with Kaede catching up to her in a bridge, Asking her if she is ok.
She is calmer but still sensitive, so when she sees Kaede, she instantly starts to notice exposed skin (she calls them "disgusting parts") on him and that makes her sad and start to tear up
Kaede asks what's wrong, if it was something he did
Tsubasa tells him the truth, since she learned about his past she's been going to crazy places on her mind, things she doesn't want to think about, she is afraid and she feels wrong about it.
Kaede Makes a shocked/pained face at that and Tsubasa sees this, and immediately starts to apologize, telling him that SHE is in the wrong, not him. Too late, Kaede is already in self-pity mode (I can't really blame him) and starts to apologize to her for telling her such disgusting things.
Tsubasa still tries to apologize but she is cut off by Kaede telling her that He couldn't have told her sooner because she would've been disgusted by him.
Kaede starts to cry telling him that she didn't think about him that way
Internally Kaede thinks that when she cried and comforted him when he told his story was a lie, It's shown that what shocked Tsubasa is his gaze is dead, he is shutting down emotionally.
Kaede continues and blames himself for her dilemma, he knew he wouldn't be accepted.
Tsubasa tries to retort, telling him that it isn't like he wouldn't accept him, She was glad Kaede trusted her enough to tell her, but it was too hard, She doesn't have any experience in dating/romance, and yet she found someone who provided her with a form of love she wanted, the man of her dreams. She was worried and scared she did something wrong, that she didn't fit in with him, and he slapping away her hand was scary to her. She knows different forms of love exist, and she tries to be understanding, but she really didn't expect, nor anyone would, he would have that heavy of a past.

This is where things go wrong my friends.
She starts voicing her thoughts, about what they (the teacher and Kaede) actually did, if it really was abuse, if he was a man/boy why did he offer such little resistance

Kaede Shouts at her to stop (rightfully so)
He asks her that how she dares to say something like that when she hasn't experienced being abused/raped (he doesn't say "being abused/raped", out loud he cuts his words and says "I can even say it")

Tsubasa reels back shocked and pained, still crying
Kaede Continues, and tells her that what she is thinking is not wrong, nor she is being cruel, Her thoughts are "normal", he was mistaken thinking that "somebody like him" could date anybody. at this points, he squats down and hides his face.
He starts to apologize, for involving her with him, for annoying her, for making her feel bad, for "not being normal", he is sorry, so so sorry.
Tsubasa runs away crying and he is left on the bridge crying.

i was actually gonna theorize that the tutor was gonna be her mom's sister, but then if her mom knows about what the tutor/sister did, why would she hire her or have her be ANYWHERE near her daughter?
That's right! I had forgot all about the tutor. That Trainee Teacher could be the tutor.
I was saying Trainee Teacher because that was her job at Kaede's middle school.

She definitely shouldn't be in a relationship, she needs some counseling to work through her issues. MC is only going to get more traumatized being with her

I tried to look up how many more chapters there are since every 2 days clearly isn't the writer's output. but you know.... Japanese. Google translate didn't even work with the site translate feature. but you clearly do have that knowledge, so could you tell me? still not reading that spoiler though. I'm just curious how long until it turns into a similar situation with the other manga I follow on here, wait 2 weeks, read for like 10 mins, wait another 2 weeks.

Dam these characters feel so real the author must have done a ton of research before making this.
Also it feels like we just crossed a doom flag of some kind.

Thanks everyone over at Tanzanite Scans for another amazing translation
No they don't that's not how normal people should or do view victims what she's doing is fucked up why do yall keep calling it normal it's weird
