i really dont think its gonna go in such an extreme direction as some people think. the description calls it a bittersweet coming of age story. i think its sad that there's an expectation that he's just gonna have to constantly suffer in this story just because he's a rape survivor. im rooting for the author to write something that doesnt just wallow in his trauma but lets this kid live a nice life and work through his PTSD in a constructive way with his friends and girlfriend being supportive.

bittersweet tends to have sad stuff happen though. pleasant but including or marked by elements of suffering or regret

She is well mannered. But not ready to handle his sensitivity. Kinda like how his classmate just brings up having sex. The stress you feel is MC not being able to break the barrier of communication. You feel the tension caused by the disconnect of MCs internal struggle and her aloofness that can trigger him.

it's always amazing how "steps'' in relationship in manga ( i reeeeally hope it's not the same shit in real life) are way too fast or too prude for my european standard, like, being officially dating when you haven't even touched hand or still calling the significant other ''lastname-san'' while all your friends are asking you if you have already done it day two of relation when you are in high school and it's your first time dating.

Haven't you seen the South Park episode? When the perpetrator is a woman and the victim is a boy, the police usually don't take it seriously.

Even when it does go to court, they usually just get a few months in jail and lose their teaching licence with no real social consequences.

And then there is the fact that he took the playboy's question at heart despite the other guy telling him that he should ignore him completely. Otherwise all his doubts are completely normal, it's just that the stakes are so high because we know he can get hurt so much

You know, I'm actually surprised their romance progressed this fast within just 7 chapters. I've read too much dragged out romance that I never question when they take like 50 chapters or more just to admit that they like each other.
