Tsubasa now understand Kaede's emotional pain by just one physical stab. Wtf. Imo author just fucked this all progression of 33 chapters in just one chapter.

Wow what the hell is pacing on this? The teacher came out of no where why didn't the writer take like a panel or something to set this up better and show the teaches story post incident because this "drama" does not feel earned in the slightest.

I doubt Tsubasa was hurt that badly, if sensei had managed to stab Kaede in the back it might've been dangerous, but Tsubasa just had her arm slashed. Her jacket most likely took most of the damage, and she probably just need a few stitches, wouldn't surprise me if muscles even weren't hurt.

Like the others in this thread, I doubt she was in prison. She probably lost her license and only had to pay a fine. Though it definintely had social repercussions and shamefur dispray. If she got a sentence, she probably got one of those where you don't have to be in prison as long as you don't commit another felony or something like that (probation I think the word is).

She’s doesn’t understand his emotional pain she feels like she deserves to be in that position because if how she treated him and how she judged him based on his experience. He sees that she’s blaming herself and that’s not what he wanted, he didn’t want her to get hurt because if his situation but now shit is going wild. She won’t ever ( or at least hope she won’t ever) experience the trauma he went through. Now she’s gonna have her own trauma of being stabbed by the same teacher that raped him.

This was an awful chapter. If it's fast paced due to a need to quickly end the series, why didn't they just end it last chapter right before the cliffhanger? Seemed like the perfect spot considering MC had overcome his main obstacle.

Like, I get we never followed up on the perp until now, but that's kinda how it goes IRL. You don't get proper closure. Your wound will not ever heal entirely no matter how much the perp does or does not get punished.

For a story that was reasonably grounded until now, this chapter feels incredibly out of place. Like some fan needed to see the perp get her comeuppance (and Tsubasa get redeemed I guess?) and wrote some fanfic to satiate that desire.

Thought it was the teacher's son, but no, it was literally just her. How did she get such a short sentence to already be out? It wasn't statutory rape, it was just rape. She should've been put away for a while.

Welcome to the sad reality of the courts when it come to females that does such heinous crimes, as most of the time they only get what seems to be a slap on the wrist and a telling to not do it again.

This kind of revenge things actually happen quite often in real life as well, most of SA perpetrator don't get jail time, since most of the victim kind of forced to negotiate it instead of bringing it to court (and even in court sometime it ended with a "peaceful negotiation" instead of jail time). So after the SA perpetrator roam free, some of them seeks revenge toward their victim who report them, even more so if their career got destroyed and also mentally unstable like this woman for example.

And about the knife, that kind of knife are legal to have in Tokyo (but illegal to bring in public) and since it's small, I guess she hided the knife in her pocket before she uses it to harm Kaede (it looks like a foldable knife).

So in conclusion this chapter is as realistic as it can get with real life. The unrealistic bit part is the scene where Tsubasa jump in to save Kaede, it's unrealistic for someone non-profesional to react that fast in that situation but it's possible to happen.

She was surprised to see Seto Kaede. Look at the previous chapter. That's a scene of surprise. She wasn't stalking him.

As such, she was just in a convenience store doing normal things, and then she went after him with a knife. Again, where did she get the knife? Did she buy one within the five or so minutes between when she saw him by surprise and when she tried to attack?

Even then, it's actually not that common for sexual abuse perpetrators to act like this. You're actually just wrong if you say that it's common.
