guess thats it for this series then, shame it was a good series too
I checked the Wizard Scans discord. Looks like they will simply ignore this person, and keep releasing their own version of chapters.

If you also aren't content with this quality of scanlation, I reccomend blocking this user. This way you won't be tempted to look at spoilers.

they are blocked now, hopefully wizard scans keeps going ive just seen too many series get killed by shitty speed scans to be optimistic long term though

plus being able to discuss the chapters is half the enjoyment

The old man had a very good grasp of his power, adjusting his own gravitational orientation must be the basic use of his ability, but it must have taken years for him to be able to move like that.

The "external" manipulation of gravity though... must have been something advanced that took even more time to conceptualize and master, maybe he really was externalizing his ability and creating a convergence point, or... he simply was able to extend his own "field" of influence far from his body but not detach it, it makes sense as an ultimate move and stays within the limitations Rami generally have before flowering.

And if I understood right... the fucker ability is somehow future vision, but not just that... the way his ability seems visualized to him, it looks like his "temporal coordinate" isn't fixed, somewhat like Zoe, he can see and maybe interact with the immediate future and react to it... but I don't know how right I am on that.

But it is a broken ability if used right one way or another... and this guy clearly has more knowledge of the world than he lets on.

When the authors decide to ramp up the fights in this... they go epic... the Heavenfall Ramus made me think of two things, first is Gravity Rush a PSP game where you could control gravity and the visual was very much like this, and the ability of the surge of gravitation in the Stormlight Archives book series, a user of it can "bind" themselves to a new gravitational axis like a roof and "fall" in that direction but with enough practice, they can make multiple "bindings" to create "pulls" of different strengths in various directions and "emulate" flight.

Really hope author can give a good pay off to basically "I can see every future". Bc IMo it's one of the most bs power ever
Precognition alone is not particularly powerful. It's just that this guy clearly isn't human, having massive strength and endurance. Combined with future prediction (or maybe future picking is more accurate), he turns out to be insanely broken.

I think it's becoming obvious that the Emperor cheated. Garland's dad is basically an inverse Mirror's child. He's a creation of the Imperial Tower, except in this case the Tower created an immortal PARENT who has all the wiles and experience of an adult who also happens to be a combat-capable homicidal sociopath. The "precognition" looks like a ramus power, though, so I think it's actually imbued in his power object - the casette player. I think he can't really see the future. Instead, the player's power is the ability to rewind. Since daddy is immortal, he can survive any possible snafu and just rewind to a point where he could avoid it happening. There's also at least a second power object that lets him neutralize other rami's powers with a physical touch.

Gravity Ramus....This series pick up some mundane concept of super power and dial up creative and scale to a absurd level and yet it works because the only balance you need is creative and tactical usage.

and far less confusing than JoJo and HxH.

idk how to feel, on one hand obviously the quality of these translations is rough and wizardscans does a good job so it's a little shitty to start using mtl to pump out chapters, but on the other, MAAAN is it rough waiting multiple months for a single translated chapter for a series like this, can't count how many times I've lost track of what's even happening because the last chapter I read was months ago

That‘s right. Some users in the last chapter‘s comments said they won‘t read the new translations, but… it‘s a fool‘s errand. Those people will eventually give in. The raws for this manga are already at Ch. 27, Wizard Scans are only at 18 and they don‘t release every month either so the gap will only widen.
Sniping gives me a bad feeling, but the new translation will probably catch up to the raws in no time.
No one is gonna wait for Wizard Scans. That‘s the reality.

Honestly, best case would be if MangaPlus releases the manga officially. They aready release other manga from the same magazine. Then we can avoid the whole scanlation drama.

i feel the same way. I'm just afraid that these lower quality translations will make people view the manga less favorably. I wouldn't call myself an elitist, I've literally google translated the raws (my pfp is from a chapter that hasn't even been translated). I literally wouldn't care if these TL's were better, but if this is what the general public will see of my favorite manga, it might shrink the already small fanbase.
