Foreshadowing spotted. Im guessing yellow is having some major imposter syndrome issues given that his writing isn't really doing well but he's finding success as yellow ranger. Similarly he's ambivalent about Red's murder since he may have wanted to not report it but did so anyways. Consciousness get the better of him or?

Maybe losing his "magnum opus" makes him spiral so freaking bad, he decides he wants to make it into reality after this.

He most likely did it cause he was insanely angry the show was doing better without his writing, and they wanted him gone from writing for the last episode, so he just decided to ruin the entire thing by creating this scandal, and removing red from the role, hence why the show got cancelled. He clearly instantly regretted it, and seems to have gone auto pilot on his anger though.

This manga has shown an unhealthy relationship with media from the perspective of fans (insane obsession and literal fanaticism), and from the perspective of actors (the incredible narcissism), and it's interesting to see it from the perspective of a writer, the creator.

Stories can do us a lot of good, and I have always championed that. But I suppose it's true that they can do a lot of bad, if we don't use them properly.

More like Yellow Keeper becoming increasingly jealous of everyone working on Dragon Keepers because he felt that they're more vital to the production than he is.

Basically, he took a hit to his inflated ego.

Him reporting Red Ranger for murder feels more of him finally being able to get rid of the competition rather than out of any moral obligation.

Hard to make sense how they go from making a tv show to developing weapons of mass destruction and human experimentation within just a few years. Yellow definitely isnt a scientist either.

Maybe somekind of ability to distort reality. The show happen 20 years ago (not sure if I remember correctly), last for few years, then dragon keeper showed up, 13 years ago the sky fortress appeared, then up to present, truly too short for science to developed when the fortress appeared
Another possibility in my opinion, is the dragon divine power was discovered way long ago. Somekind of secret organization seek the evil spirit power and pursued dragon prestiesses, so they had to hide. After cancelling of Dragon Keeper show, Kiritani somehow came into connect with them, he betrayed his wife made her family into divine tools and created current situation
