I feel bad for Lyle here. He didn't want this, explicitly disowns this multiple times, and yet he's still getting called "enemy of women".

fact that Lyle was also a heretical child makes his effortless harem way more plausible. He's not even trying.

Part of me suspects that she used that as a convenient excuse to help out both Aria and Lyle. But I also wouldn’t be surprised for her to not be opposed to such an outcome, as she’s the type of childhood friend who wants to be useful.

They Sanded down both Aria and Novem.

In the web novel this part is just awful to read and Aria and Lyle are displeased by the arrengment.

Lyle even begs to Novem that he only wants her and she still pushes Aria into them.

This is required characterization for the awful relation between Lyle, Novem and Aria.
