@bowser_communist I don't think it's possible to be scared of those two no matter how scared you are of ghosts. I'm not sure they are even properly ghosts/spirits. They seem more like a result of elemental cuteness concentrated so densely it gains an independent existence.

This is what's really happening in Japan right now. And in some reports, it's actually affecting the population growth of the country. Very unlikely to change anytime soon because a lot of big corporations has money going to the government to keep things that way.

i will never understand why black company employees don't just kill their managers
i mean if they ended up working at a shitty company like that it's not like they've got much in the way of prospects anyway

Maybe a few have attempted that. But misery, hopelessness, and depression are powerful. It could also be a societal issue at large.
