Literally, お茶 (ocha) means "tea," but in Japanese, it can be used more broadly to mean "a casual drink" or "a chat over drinks," depending on context.
So while it technically means tea, in casual conversation it can imply coffee or other light drinks, especially if the speaker isn’t being super specific.
But obviously with the power of reading ahead. You can get context. It's clear that coffee is correct. This is what happens when a fake native translates and claims otherwise.
The difference in human translation quality is so night and day.

it's categorically different than MTL— and MTL scans most likely do not use any LLM, or use it incorrectly— you would need to feed the entire chapter + previous chapters— it pulls context from what the work is about to shine context, you need a pretty high pro-plan for doing that type of volume
