Masamune Shirō - creator of Appleseed, Dominion Tank Police, and Ghost in The Shell - makes hentai.

I don’t follow hentai artists but I do know that enough of them go on to be mainstream mangaka that tvtropes has a list.

i don't think she's into ishizumi, as we've seen before that she very clearly ships him and reina. it's probably that she's embarrassed at herself for shipping two real people like anime characters. (or at least i hope so)

She definitely seems more like she's invested in their relationship than being jealous or anything.

Still think she'd make a cute couple with Ishizumi too though, kinda ship them more myself lol.
But also kinda hope that doesn't come up, we have enough series where the supporting interest is better but still loses out.

Hadn't she chose to support Reina and not Ishizumi? I think that's why she's flustered, she realized she's actually more concerned about Ishizumi than Reina.

I think she's simply embarrassed to admit how much he means to her, even if just as coworkers. Reina approached her to become her friend, yet Ishizumi has only ever been his coworker, yet she cares more about Ishizumi than Reina, or maybe just as much.

I agree that I don't think its because she's interested in Ishizumi romantically. But I think she's experiencing the budding of feelings of different kind, specifically of being excluded and left out/left behind of the two people she's closest with getting together.
