What you should do is ask who wants to continue the project and who doesn't and just continue with the ones who want, or ask for help and continue with new people under other scan, I really loathe seven seas and I had people tell me that my MTL sometimes is better than whatever they are doing LMAO but at the end of the day do whatever makes you feel better at the end of the day.

official translations are never good, and done by people who don't care, it's usually localized to all hell.

Like so many others I am "excited" to sail the high seas to continue reading this. Glad I can read Japanese but I like to read in my native language whenever I'm able to. I cannot wait for Japan to fully integrate their translation teams into their Japan offices (even if that includes AI) and do away with all the garbage official localizers.

Not going to lie, I'm getting rather annoyed by Seven Seas. They are trying to grow too large for what they can actually manage.

Their translations are generally iffy and they go on big licensing sprees almost every other week only to release the first volume in a year and then, if you're lucky and it is a series that sells well, a new volume maybe every three months. If not then they'll basically side-line the volume releases and release a new volume every six months instead.

I am almost damn sure that they are purposely looking at websites like this to check what is most popular, and are using fan translators as unpaid advertisement.

Bruh... But it's true, your lowest quality during "war" with that other TL group was better than whatever SS will produce... Heck, even their TL will be better by miles than SS job - and to add salt to the wound, if the title won't meet their sales quota, worst case scenario - we'll have to wait half a year for few chapter.

The worst thing is that it kills its relevance and community, it's no exaggeration that a lot of manga depending on the content loses quite the appeal when you're not talking with anybody about it and basically becomes undiscoverable. Mangaplus is truly a blessing in comparison on top of not being just English (tho the rest is pretty much just Spanish)

The worst thing is that other group, that Senko was fighting with, 100% won't drop this, so our choice will be either read weekly their crappy scanaltion, or boycott them and wait God know how long for official, even worse translation... God I hate this...

No they are not, while their translation is mediocre, seven seas are just insanely slow.

We are currently at 4th volume (beginning to 5th), and considering first volume will be out at 2026 november (a god damn year to release 7 chapters) it'll be probably 2028 maybe even 2029 until reach the current chapter.

Yes its not a joke, it will literally take 3 years and this is if they actually continue. Some of their project doesnt even get an update per year.

I just wish translation groups dont drop when seven seas gets involved in it because more than translation they are just killing projects and takes a million years to release a single thing.

So, I assume currently we are on volume 5th or at least beginning to 5th:

Second volume will be out around 2027 May - June
Third volume will be out around 2027 November - December
Fourth volume will be out around 2028 May - June
Fifth volume will be out around 2028 November - December (we are currently here)

And this is if Seven Seas doesnt actually drop the series after one or two volumes (if it doesnt sell enough they do actually drop)

Hence I really hate SS and just wish that translation groups would ignore them, they literally butcher the community and any interest that readers do have in them. Like lets be real if the translation stopped here, who would remember this series after 3 years? They are just very greedy, licensing literally everything yet not releasing anything in a reasonable time at all. Not to mention their translation is really mediocre at best, unreadable at worst.
