This pretty much confirms that there won't be a turning into a tree permanently tragedy. So it looks safe from the tragedy tag. As someone with a rather bad fear of heights, I did not enjoy this chapter.

Something like the tower block or the Sky Tree I would be fine with, because they are human engineering based on science and a proven track record, even though I personally would never choose to climb them. But being grabbed around the waist, dragged over a balcony, and sat on a branch of a mysterious 40-storey tree that was grown out of nothing in mere seconds... I feel sick. Please let me down.

I do worry about that building - most skyscrapers aren't exactly rated for a skyscraper-sized hunk of wood to be put on them, especially since the tree is probably much denser than the skyscraper due to being completely solid. Maybe she stuck a whole bunch of roots through the building's structure and into the ground, keeping the load from being put on the skyscraper's structure?
