for real, imagine writing stuff down becaue you know will forget, and NOT ADDING SUCH IMPORTANT CONTEXT, damnit
She didn't know she'd fall asleep that fast. He used something in his hand to immediately knock her out. I imagine she jotted down a quick note in the panic but also assumed she'd get to talk to Sayaka before going to bed. Sounds typical; all she was worried about was remembering the exact phrase. She'd already started planning when he touched the item and forcefully put her to sleep.i guess there wasnt enough time to write down "the password is:"
Like that one song he’s only human after all don’t put the blame on himDr. Reisho would feel like a much more interesting character if he didn't lock her memory for petty revenge.
It's just that he's been the one inhuman character of the series. Flipping that on its head in his final moments for no thematic reasons is just weird.Like that one song he’s only human after all don’t put the blame on him
I don’t know I actually kind of liked that his last moment was him being petty
I disagree quite heartily really. It's possibly one of our most human traits to have people obsessed with power deny the humanity of others. Reishou the monster exists because he is narcissistic enough to think himself right and only himself, so him being petty to those who 'disagree' with his "gracious" gift of imprisonment is perfectly in character. It's just that he's been the one inhuman character of the series. That is a great reframing of Reishou's humanity. But pettiness comes from a place of weakness, where he doesn't truly believe himself to be above everyone else but nonetheless needs himself to be.
