it later proven in the story that the mc want to keep a lizard as a pet, while everyone said its a lizard, she insist its a dragon, and a dragon it is

one of the reason why butler kinda betraying the family, the butler think the MC doesnt like to become ML fiancee looking at their interaction, thus he decided their engagement should be broken to keep MC happy, there's also part possibility that if mc got married, they will got separated
he didnt expect the MC become despaired and decided to jump off the cliff in the prev cycle tough
its been implied that the butler kinda yandere to the mc
btw, the MC family doesnt really care when their house fall into ruin tough

in the continuation of the story, there's a 3rd prince (the princess brother who want to steal ML from MC) who also fall in love with mc, since when prince got kidnapped by thug ordered by the opposing faction, their carriage crashed with mc when mc want to save a boar, after the crash, the prince think the mc saved him and kinda forcefully take her hand and escaping together, this make the mc family think the mc has been kidnapped, this fuss is one of the causes why mc become dumb and traumatized with social gathering

using this information, mc brother and brother decided to dig information to stop mc getting engaged with the prince, since they know the ML can make the MC happy
they decided with a farce story that the mc can turn into frog and ask the prince if he can take care of frog MC, well the prince failed since hated reptile and amphibian animal
as for the ML, he gladly taking care of frog MC which cement his position as ML

but i would read this if they made it into a manga bc i like absurd humor and romance wise, at least we already know they like each other and thats the biggest hurdle in these types of stories
