Even if it's permanent, author just need something to level drain Lavi to level 1 and then he can level up again with better stats gain.Figured as much, the bigger question now is, are the stat suppressors a permanent effect or will they return to normal if the bangles are removed? Or are they lost forever?
it is how most manga should work. Growing up, getting deeper and diverse. Rather than just wider like a lot of others do. Komi san was one that felt like it was getting wider and wider but still not even toe depth with no signs of life. At least around chapter 200ishCall me crazy, but I dig the tonal shift here and most of the time in any story. Reminds me of Made in Abyss episode 10 and HxH's Chimera Ant arc (and even Nagatoro with how it starts as a romcom then it started incorporating genres that made everything feel more substantial). If it's handled well, it elevates the stakes and removes the stagnant feeling of predictability.
I Think it had something to do with a holy Knight or something tank relatedEven if it's permanent, author just need something to level drain Lavi to level 1 and then he can level up again with better stats gain.
Also did anyone remember what is the sister unique skill?
Remember when this series was a lighthearted Ecchi Comedy about a Shota and Merchant getting into lucky pervert situations because of her wacky gadgets?
The crazy part is that she seemingly feels no remorse over what she’s done. She doesn’t care at all that she’s actively hampered his progress and made him feel like even more of a loser than he ever was.The fact that Connie looks so goddamn proud of herself when admitting that she knowingly and intentionally kneecapped Lavi's stats is the final nail in the coffin for her in my opinion. She no longer is just goofy, dangerously obsessive sister, she has deliberately ruined a good chunk of Lavi's life with this stunt. I don't hope she dies; i hope Lavi tells her to go fuck herself and she spirals into depression
She doesn’t feel any remorse because it ties into exactly what she wants. Lavi to fully rely on her and no one else. Being super weak just adds to that. I’m under the assumption that if the father was out of the picture, she probably would’ve had Lavi chained up in his room (probably to her bed). And to everyone else I’m fairly confident that the hooded villain is not Connie, but another character who has not been fully introduced yet (but I think has been mentioned and technically shown). The crazy part is that she seemingly feels no remorse over what she’s done. I have no idea what that site is. The pages that we use in our translation are pulled directly from Gammaplus, the official source. Every chapter has been split into two since the beginning (not counting the extra “.5” chapters).46.1
Huh? Rawkuma had the whole raw chapter out, why didn't they use that?
Small note, I don’t believe he was actually “piss weak”, he was weaker in comparison to his extremely overpowered family. If anything, he may be slightly weaker than the general public. He’s had those bangles before he ever entered Tartarus as you could see that he had them on in the images of him in school. The only thing we actually know for sure as of right now is that he has no unique ability (for at least one that has manifested in a way that can be displayed by that one witches power, whose name I just forgot.)There's still something missing here. Remember, everyone, that Lavi was piss weak from birth even well before the bangles as a stark deviation from the rest of his family. He wasn't made weak with these bangles, he was already weak before them. He also never had his unique ability, which was stated as another deviation from the start, instead of just "you'll get it later", which implies that it's an inherent thing and not something that manifests after multiple levels (and newbs at the academy already had theirs from the start).
So everything that is now being attributed to those bangles, save for damage transfer, which we attributed to comedic effect injury censorship and the barrier at 30th level are actually things that existed before the items ever did. The means there's two real options: There's a facet to this that hasn't been revealed that makes the pieces fit or that the author fucked up his timelines and bad and is in the process of retconning Lavi's past.
I'd bet that those bangles are less malicious that it's made to look like right now. Betting on some rules lawyer -tier pro/con minmaxing, where his sister managed a negative counterbalance that didn't actually do anything or something similar (as again, that "weakness" part hasn't truly changed anything as far as we can see), but not sure.
I get that, Connie is even more messed up than I thought. I don’t expect Lavi to just cut off his sister so I only hope he comes out better off from this experience. She doesn’t feel any remorse because it ties into exactly what she wants.
