"slow as a fly" so, i dont know what kind of fly's they have in japan to make the author think they are slow, but here in scandinavia the flies is pretty damn fast, if you where to scale them to human size then they would break the sound barrier and then some as they would be able to reach about 1700 km/h.

Why does everyone assume that the rank you get in a guild is specifically how strong you are. In most guilds, you rank through doing quests whether they be easy or hard. Also you can have a really strong person join the guild and have to start at the bottom.
