I like how abruptly and at the same time with what a poker face this chapter went from a subplot about a found egg to a parody of the little match girl. Well, at least it didn't end with the same edgeness as the original tale.

I don't like this egg. It's just going to take away screentime from Tsuchi. Maybe if it ends becoming like a brother to Tsuchi and we get a nice heartfelt story about the joys of brotherhood à la the "great American novels" of yore.

The credit made me wonder what pilgrimage you are taking. It's near the hajj season and till august seems reasonable for hajj timeline, but it doesn't involve being sopping wet in the middle of a forest.
