Yeah I’m feeling that at this point. I skipped half the sports chapters. I’m not reading this for volley ball

Yeah, I think in general the series ran out of tailwind like twenty or so chapters back and has just been drifting aimlessly every since.
Honestly, I think the anime kinda actually lowered my enjoyment of it after it dropped

After doing some search, I found out that college entrance test in Japan is around mid January, have high difficulty, and college is important in Japan. No wonder why they don't really feel to do anything much other than study in 3rd year.

Make sense to me. Also, not like it will end that close in 2-3 chapter after this chapter since the translation is way behind

Hmmm, yeah maybe wrong choice of words, less aimless and more just drawling it out and going through the motions. That's what it feels like its doing for me at least.

And seem that's why the author consider to just skip xmas this time. Study for entrance test seem reasonable considering how close current time (Xmas-NY) to date of test and how hard the test is.
