Thank the sweet yuri gods for that. I was worried the whole chapter that it would go the other way. Most of the time it's not the new rival that's the issue, it's the MCs who act foolishly. But she reacted normally. They let Sensei be the one with insecurity and left it as a gag at the end instead, which is good.

Every time she thought she was already dead, Ayu put another nail in the coffin hahaha. Ayu and Sensei definitely got in the mood later. I don't think the impulsive Sensei would be able to ignore her own want for attention after that realization.
