I just had to check again, and you are correct that it does indeed mean patriarch. When we saw patriarch in the last chapter, it was two kanji characters. The thing is, this time we didn't know that this meant patriarch because when we translated the word, we actually didn't get an English word but the Japanese word in English, and the word provided in the raws was "ぞくちょうさん" which says "Zokuchō-san" and means patriarch and it wasn't "そうちょうさん" which says "Sōchō-san" meaning matriarch, Thank you for the feedback, but we don't plan to change it because ぞくちょうさん was in the raws. But if you want us to change it to "Sōchō-san" or matriarch, we'll see if we have time to change it, but if it's not a problem, we'll leave it.
