There are slice of life, romance, action, mystery, conflict and self conflict. These elements blend so well together. Mc hits the right spot in terms of his ideals. Doesnt seem like a teenager yet its not like an adult. Romance moments doesnt feel childish but also its not too mature. Man this manga really hits the perfect middle spot for me.
This is the hot blooded youth manga Im looking for!!! Alas from my search so far most of them are extremes on both sides.

You know what? Kagetsu Tohya has some good elements for Shiki's chara growth. I felt the major ones were his so called true personality story, Kishima Kouma story and SHIKI and Shiki romance story. Its a shame there's no manga for those.

Ironically for romance manga I always search for them on doujinshi gallery site. 1st The author doesnt drag the romance like an animal getting dragged by lorry's tires the whole day and distract the readers with cute and fluffy moments to lenghten the chapters. 2nd The plot progression hits at the right time. 3rd there is no drama and angst doesnt make you feel like you want to vomit. So yes I do read them for the plot.
......What I want to say is this manga is excellent. ok finish

So was this the true ending or? God I can’t wait for the remake to come out. Hopefully in English eventually.

For those who might be confused:
The Shiki lying in the grass with a scarf (blindfold) and meeting Sensei is his future self after reuniting with Arcuied.
The scene with Arcueid in the castle is a flashback. Shiki is implied to have tracked down Arcueid's castle with Ciel-senpai's help
This future version of Shiki is based on a short intro story for a possible Tsukihime 2 which still hasn't gotten anywhere by the time of this writing.
Originally, Shiki's reunion with Sensei happens with him wearing glasses and is strongly implied to be their very last meeting. In this particular manga version, Shiki's reunion with Sensei happens in this distant future, and although Shiki still might not have long to live, it's implied he and Sensei just might see each other one more time.

Damn. That was a good ending!
