If you two are talking about calling the King a Retard, that was the actual word used in all 3 translations i used for this chapter.
Or, well to be more accurate, it was used in 2 of them and ChatGPT changed it to some more friendly version but that sounded very strange in this context but basically means the same.
Edit: I mean i can of course change it if it's bothering too many people, it also doesn't have to be the actual word used in the original, since, again, i use AI for the actual translation, i don't speak any japanese.
I take the raws and put them through 3 AIs, then rewrite the chapter from that. So if image recognition f-s up, or the AI itself, there may be inaccuracies.

The word used in the official English version of the light novel in volume 3 chapter 4 has him call the king a "royal fool" .

There is a noticable difference between how commoners and nobles speak in light novel, and assuming it's not just the English translations and also the intent of the author, then retard definitely does not fit. The nobility use more flowery language and references/quotes.

I have no idea who is who anymore outside of Olivia. Who by name is on which side. The idiot incompetent king is on the enemy side I'm guessing.

The "big three generals" are on Olivia team? The fancy new evervictorious guy is the enemy side? Which side is the direwolves now. Who's leading the Knights of Sol again?
