How about ya'll actually tackle what I'm saying instead of throwing a red herring into the mix. I've been saying one thing but ya'll had been arguing another. I'm saying that this isn't as big a deal as the author is trying to make it out to be and ya'll are saying that the commanders are just too goddamn stupid for their own good. That they can't even tell what's left from right. Of course you trust your scouts but you also shouldn't be stupid enough to not take the entire context into the table. That's why you're a commander, you should take into account all the factors in the mix. You can see that the enemy supreme commander is cleaning her neck for you to chop when they don't even need to, no matter who you are, what you are, you would be suspicious of that. And if you have one more functioning brain cell, you'd realize that it's a trap. Maybe they wouldn't know what kind of trap it is, from where the enemy will come from or how many will surprise them. But it'd be very easy to see that it's suspicious. Especially since these are commanders who were active for more than 20 years and some even participated in wars from their youth. How about you stop being a brat and attacking others for daring to disagree with you and pointing out why those commanders acted the way they did.
Why even bother scouting the area for ambushes if you think such a thing is useless. You are operating with information that those commanders didn’t have and for all they knew the enemy was just underestimating then and being cocky. It certainly would be warranted seeing as only the MC’s squad was doing well against them and the 7th army was being obliterated by their troops. When the people you trust to look for ambushes tells you that they didn’t find anyone then a normal commander would leap at the opportunity to get the head of a supreme commander.
Fact is that they weren’t being stupid but we’re acting on information that was available to them. Ashton had info they didn’t know and that’s how he came to that conclusion that they couldn’t come to. The head commanders also were able to figure it out as they have more experience than the other commanders and could use that experience to sus out what was going on. It’s easy for you to be an armchair commander and screech about how it’s obvious a trap but to the people in the actual war they didn’t realize what was going on. This is a realistic thing to happen as it has literally happened in real life where Alexander got ambushed in an obvious trap when he was chasing a retreating enemy. Was Alexander being an idiot when he fell for a trap?
Grow the f*ck up and stop lashing out at people. Be an adult instead of a petulant child.
See, if you read the thing, you'd notice that none has asked why the CK is doing what they're doing. All they did was say that it's madness. Because the author knows that once you start asking why, it would be clear as day that it's a trap. I don't get how ya'll are getting lost in the sauce. I'm saying only one thing. It shouldn't be as big of a deal as the author makes it out to be. If you could start actually arguing against that, then I will also be the adult you want me to be. And I have absolutely no idea what you mean by the thing about Alexander. You could've given me more context.
