Since Felix is sent to replace Rosenmarie for some time and look at the Crimson Knight (chapter 39) and, at the same time, Mekia send Amelia to a Fort controlled by said Crimson Knight, will there be an encounter between those 2 ?

Yes, and this was the beginning of conflict between Mekia and Empire. After this, Mekia and Farnest form an alliance to face the Empire, though Mekia has ulterior motives, to attract Olivia to their side and to learn her magical techniques.

Wait... didn't this 3rd faction initially decide it's not yet time to intervene in the war between Furnest and Asbelt? Why is their leader ordering what I think is a raid on Fort Astora then? Attacking with a force of 3,000 against a fort with 10,000 defenders?

Assuming that small force is enough to actually win, I don't think Asbelt will let such an attack pass without consequences, perhaps it'll find itself in a two-front war soon.

Or is it really just a peaceful "sympathy visit"...?

Fort Astora being at the complete opposite of where Mekia is (I don't know if the manga already showed a map of the continent yet, but the Light Novel has a map in the first pages of the book), if they do attack the Fort Mekia would probably be the least suspect.

As far as the rudimentary map in the manga has shown me, Fort Astora appears to be at the border with Furnest. It is indeed at the opposite location with regards to Mekia, but I find it hard to believe how a hostile force of 3000 could march across Asbelt all the way to the other side without being detected, unless they use some kind of invisibility to conceal their movements (that would be cheap and too convenient if so, even more if something like teleportation is used).

Well, Mekia is the house of the biggest church on the continent. So in a way they can conceal themselves with the help of their followers.

that cookie she gave the horse look like it has chocolate in it, please do not feed horses chocolat at any quantity as its a very lethal poison to them, by bodyweight they are far more sensitive then dogs.
