Web novel stuff getting thrown to the wayside is pretty common. Mobuseka's Alzer arc was entirely rewritten when it got made into Light Novels.

Every time I'm reminded of that trash series, I am filled with inner peace, like the MC from Return of Crazy Demon, knowing that I never had the displeasure of getting invested and finding out the hard way.

Genuinely glad I don't understand the levels of retardation going through the writers mind to have her crush on MC basically the whole time, just to have that heaping pile of pdfile grooming trash as the ending.

What's sad is (and I know it's a fictional character), the son/nephew, is nothing but a imitation to replace the MC, he ain't even actually loved, just a tool for a pathetically sick character to vent their frustrations on and use as a replacement instead of moving on.

So it's a twisted ending with everyone losing... Although shouldn't be surprised from an author that forced a whole succubus plotline where the "loving wife" has to be a whore to survive... such a shitty trope when succubi are feeders on energy.... not literally sex, first depiction I saw was dream demons.

A Plethura of more tasteful ways to do a plot than to just write shit. But well.. they wrote that after story... sooooo.
