I liked this but when he said “I didn’t think of you as just a sister” it made me really really uncomfortable (if he wasn’t referring to incest there then I’m fine with it). Other than that it seems to have pretty good potential.
What are you talking about? Closest thing I can see he said is "I never thought of you as a bother. He was saying her illness was never a problem and he wasn't being bothered by taking care of her. It wasn't a typo of "brother".

Stupidity comes in many ways, especially when typing comments. I was so sleepy that I didn’t even notice what the fuck I was typing. Also thanks for explaining it : ) I know it’s probably incest judging from most of the comments but I’m in that Incest=Wincest mood at the moment so it’s gonna be a fun read

This is a trodden path but the setup has more patience. The trauma and uncanniness as a baby are also nice additions.

Art feels more serious, too.

About the 26:00 thing... It's a common practice in Japan to write time past 24 hours especially when it is about schedule until a particular day is over. For TV schedule for particular day a late night anime isn't airing at 01:35, but at 25:35, until the broadcast for the day is over, you get the rainbow screen and then the next day schedule starts again at morning.

If you work overtime until late night at the 3rd, you go to sleep at 2800, but if you slept early on the 3rd and had to wake up early the next day, then you'll wake up at the 4th at 0400.

Thanks for the explanation, was curious of that. Essentially "the day ain't over until I sleep" kind of mentally. :pepela:

On the other hand, had he not rejected her and basically all human contact, he likely may not have left at the time he did and wouldn't have been hit by that truck. Or even just not being too busy grumbling about it to pay attention to the road.

Heck, that girl may still be just as traumatized thinking he jumped in front of a truck just because she showed interest in him.
That girl might potentially forget about him eventually, but she will be scarred by the fact that on the same night she confessed to her crush, that same person got ran over by a truck. The worst case scenario is that she'll feel guilty about it and think it was all her fault or spend the rest of her life thinking that she could have saved him if she acted differently.
