That exactly what happened according to the LN, which is pretty fuck up if you ask me...

I mean if you grown up and nobody care you except you brother, and your brother always there for you. The brother will always be a benchmark for other love interest.

And the MC clearly doesnt have interest for other people because his traumatic experience.

I haven't read the LN, but in the middle of this chapter the writer particularly specified that MC is 1 year old and his sister is 8 months old? Since the lines are said on the same day it seems to imply they're not related by blood because their ages are less than 9 months apart. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow, solid start with good pacing.
My heart dropped when not only his sister died, but he got the notice about his parents, even knowing it's an isekai.
I started thinking the guy would just off himself right then and there, but it got worse, turning into a trauma for life (and afterlife), but it also shows his good character that he didn't lash out at others, and clearly treated other people courteously, even while not opening up to them, evidenced by his co-workers elaborated the whole scheme to (they thought so) help him find happiness.
I also like the blurring of others faces, not only does it reinforce how they were pieces of shit on their treatment of the kids (even when parents flirting with each other is a good signal normally), but more importantly, it was a good visualization of his trauma.
I'm thoroughly invested. Hope the quality holds.

I liked this but when he said “I didn’t think of you as just a sister” it made me really really uncomfortable (if he wasn’t referring to incest there then I’m fine with it). Other than that it seems to have pretty good potential.

I’m normally fine with reading Incest manga tho and can even enjoy it but for some reason I’m not with reading this one. Maybe I’ll check back later when it has more chapters and I’m in the mood to read some.

Note to self: Reading the “Popular New Titles” section without looking at the ratings makes you hate the next couple mangas you read
