It's niche in English but surprisingly popular in Asia. Hell, I live in Canada and I saw Shinya Shokudou themed instant noodles on sale, but specifically based off the Taiwanese live-action of it. Funny how we get noodles but not the manga.

Taiwanese and Chinese - there's several adaptations (one was in Taipei and another is in Shanghai)...from what I remember the Taiwanese version had quite a bit of product placement and changed a few stories from the Japanese version.
Pretty sure there's a Korean live version as well. It's actually not that easy to adapt the series to western audiences as the translators will need to explain some of the cultural significance of the food being referenced, and etc.

Thank you so much for this upload! This manga is a beloved favorite of mine. I like it's troublesome characters.... like this fella. I feel like getting spayed is pretty reasonable. It's not like it keeps you from doing the deed or anything post recovery.
