I'm not sure. I can't really hide this entry from readers until they've finished the main story. I think we just have to accept this as a shortcoming of the format.

I did discuss with contributors if I should have just included it in the main entry but we agreed due to the different title and new chapter count it is clearly meant to be its own thing.

Just take it like a sequel manga. Once you know there's a sequel it can spoil the prequel. That's just the nature of it.

See now we can see if itsuki is truly abusive. That is something that was a point of contention in these last few chapters of the other series.

Just for sake of conversation I don't think he is abusive. I think he's a scorched earth type of individual.

For now I have adjusted the description to not mention much. Can't really do anything about the title the author chose or the cover, though, as there's no volume for this so I have to default to the cover page for chapter 1.

I will also include a spoiler warning at the beginning of chapter 1. That's about as much as I can personally do.

It's worth noting that even if you checked it the main series in the app it's on, you would stumble upon this spin-off just by browsing the chapters, so I don't think it's meant to be that secret.

Yeah this was my main concern as well. Because of this, my idea was to maybe opt for an edited (maybe blurred or cropped) version of this cover, like a "volume 1.1 cover", which would 'hide' the real one in the art/volume covers tab.
Even though that's against standard MD policy, I think this case might warrant an exception.
