After reading up to chapter 8 of the raws. I really don't like the female lead. Enemies-to-lovers only works when the two are enemies because of circumstances that are outside of their control. The romantic tension comes from those circumstances holding them back. But in this manga, the female lead is the one creating all the conflict between the two. The circumstances are due to her own actions. She would rather feel pain than gentleness... his gentleness towards her makes her feel empty. The best way to stop her would be to unironically marry the Male Lead off in an arranged marriage.
