The SSF plot needs to die. I don't love the whole idol-culture-esque Sato fanclub that wants to keep people away from their oshi type of plot to begin with because those are usually cringey, but I can live with it if it was a specific and focused small set of identified people who were doing it so that we could actually have some sort of growth out of it, like having them realize that the actual Sato is far better than their distant, frigid ideal and that they could be her friend if they stop treating her the way they do.

But the excessive setup with the ornate salt-themed pranks and the fact that they're seemingly willing to kill Oshio is dumb and I hate it.

The only way this might end up worse is if it turns out the SSF is all fake and it's really just Ren because he has a crush on Sato and got rejected and now he hates that his friend is the one dating her. Because then not only is this ridiculous, it's also specifically and excessively petty that he would do all this to his friend.

I just want this plot done and gone. The stuff with Sato and the other girls is infinitely more interesting and tolerable.

If other manga and occasional stories from Japan are any indication, telling the teacher would only make things worse and probably not solve anything because the teacher would likely just say they can't tell who's doing it so they can't help or they'd vaguely address the class and say not to do that stuff and then it would get worse.

I mean its bad since the chapter where he held the girl's hand on a date (yeah someone told me you can do that with girl friends while you have a girlfriend but whatever). Yeah since then its REALLY bad like bad bad, but I keep reading cuz I thought it could get better but if you say this arc will end in 15 chapters.....

The sad thing is that when Oshio finds put who the SSF are he'll probably say something like "they're just people who admires Sato San, I can't be made at them" and forgive everything.
