That's a very strong start.

The dysfunctional family set-up reminded me of the movie 空中庭園 (Kūchū Teien) from 2005 - this manga is almost a what-if scenario if the Kyobashi mother, who is a character also full of seething rage, finally acts out her murderous impulses. Even the quirks of each family member in this manga are almost a carbon copy of the Kyobashi family from the movie with only the sultry private tutor and the street-savvy grandma missing.
