Finally! The video that got me introduced to Para-no-maru Koukou has been turned into a manga chapter! Can't believe it's already over a year now

Note: the orginal Youtube series exists on a parallel world from the manga, as far as I can tell. Some chapters have corresponding videos but they're generally different enough that I wouldn't call watching the videos to be spoilers. Some videos have, in return, were adopted from the manga original chapters.

There was a completely unrelated arc about saving the world from ending. But as far as I can remember, the two gals have never fought against each other in the original Youtube series, which means the plot of chapters 17 & 18 was completely original to the manga. I've been wondering, would spelling the name "Riko-teya" be more intuitive as "Riko-tya", as that is closer to the pronunciation in the video series, and, as far as I can tell, the way it is written (with a yōon as 「りこてゃ」, as opposed to 「りこてや」 with the regular kana)?
Even though it would be a big change after this many chapters.

Additionally, would spelling the name "Mary" be more intuitive as "Merry", as that is closer to the pronunciation in the original video (see three posts above), and, as far as I can tell, the way it is written (as 「メリー」, as opposed to 「メアリー」, which would be the more common spelling for "Mary")?

the -tya thing felt weird because half the time the や is full size, half time time it's ゃ. or maybe it was just the inexperienced me not being able to tell? thought it was weird that it was -teya and not -tya, but that was how (i thought) it was written in the original, so i just wrote it like that. and since then i really didn't spare a second thought to it. looking back it definitely would've been wiser to check the video series for confirmation.
i'll look into editing all the older chapters at some point to change all the -teya's into -tya's, to update the color pages that i didn't clean when i started out, and just overall to improve the quality of the shoddier first chapters before i learned all my tricks. though if you won't mind i'd rather get up to date first, so bear with the -teya's a little while longer

the merry thing is completely fair though and it's something that i didn't even consider. i assumed that mary would be a more common name for a """ghost""" and didn't think twice. edited the chapter to change it to merry, thank you

I think that's already a big ask; I've seen other groups in the past go with a mention of a change "from now on" in a credit page, so I admire your dedication and of course it isn't at all an urgency.
Thanks for changing this chapter for the one raw reader and the maybe five video series watchers who might possibly pick up on the discrepancy in the name's spelling. Who knows if she'll even show up again for it to be relevant, so once again I admire your dedication to the cause. (The cause of quality, of course.)

As chances seem relatively high that a chapter can be based on a or multiple video(s), (re)watching the relevant one(s) could be of help with translations.
