Nah, it's actually really easy once you get the hang of it. The trick is to learn slide texting, you can type both one handed and without looking.

I mean it sucks, but it doesn't seem like the explosion is particularly strong. Our MC can only vaguely glow and he looked more annoyed than in pain. I think what happens is that she explodes and everyone else just gets hit by the dust and shockwave that comes from it.
