My edgy fanfiction idea:

Truck-sama helps Kiritsugu portal in to murder Lect and Pals, he joins the military of the country that blonde homunculus princess belongs to and moves up the ranks, he marries the princess and begins planning a coup with her, the coup succeeds, blonde princess person dies in her sleep from "natural causes", Kiritsugu consolidates his power and has the empire develop superior magical weaponry, he pulls a Zero Requiem, it succeeds, the world is semi-peaceful for a time.

Epilogue: Lect and Meria make each other miserable in heaven(?), Meria eventually ditches Lect realizing she can do better, she meets a bunch of bishie angels who all love and cherish her, Lect becomes Lect the Tomato via a sadness-induced lobotomy, the rest of Lect's harem went straight to hell(?) and became members of Lucifers endless harem of awesome, they couldn't be happier.

@Kyujyu I just binged the series after this chapter showed up, but the earlier chapters mentioned The Four Worlds as being pretty important and some of their tech is explicitly from other worlds with no magic, so I imagine it's something like this world is a sort of central hub where things from various dimensions get isekai'd; combine that with a few thousand years worth of integration, complete with random tech progression as new stuff gets isekai'd, and you end up with a completely random mishmash of magi-tech.

As for the fake names, it's a pretty proven fact that famous people can go completely unnoticed when they're out and about if you're not actually expecting them (see Charlie Chaplin coming in 3rd in a Charlie Chaplin lookalike competition or Tom Cruise working for UPS (I believe for a role); plus, as far as the populace is concerned, their king's name is Lectival, with only his wives calling him Lect, so most people probably wouldn't connect it right away. Though they also got caught pretty quickly thanks to Meriela taking them to a store that serves her family, so they recognized her and were able to infer everyone else's identities.
