I too think it's a false flag, but I don't think it's his father; if his plan is to kick out his other son, he shouldn't be risking the life of his only remaining heir with a tumble down the stairs.

Yes but no, if i see it with "irl eyes" a famous educator / military general in my country could be uknow for the mayority of the world, like the most famous biology researcher vs Stephen Hawking, you can know the bio one, but you absolutly know about SW

Two thoughts, first I hate parents who blame their children. They're the absolute worst types of scum in these stories. Second, is this maid possibly the mistress/mother in disguise, or someone related to her? She doesn't feel like someone who was a maid for a long time at all, and has some arrogance to her.

The maid... is suspicious. To be honest, I have a feeling she's also a reincarnator like MC but actually is aware of the story that this is probably based off of. And why she's speaking out of line, because the elf was supposed to be Regulus's tutor in the story. At least my two cents.
