I haven't read it myself but people in previous chapter comment sections have spoiled it. Also see my last comment, I got it mixed up, it's the webcomic.
They switch back, they both live, yui in yuuta commits suicide, yuuta in yui marries someone else and has kids.

I'm happy for the ending, but because the author spent too much on their relationship with other ppl (eg: yuta in yui with ramen guy). That panel could be used to develop their relationship so the ending would feel more satisfying.
And the ramen guy storyline didn't contribute anything to main plot, it's useless drama and waste of time. At least kazuma storyline trigger yuta to confess.
7/10 for me

It's because that character is more related to the other ending. Not really defending it - but that's the truth of why that character exists.
Seems like the Author was planning on doing the other ending and probably got so much hate mail he changed his mind in the final chapters.

I am just glad that it got an happy ending after all this years especially when most people only guess work is the webcomic and we all know how that ended, and thanks to the translation team current and past for translating this series. And best of luck on your future endeavours.

@shoker
That would actually makes sense (the ramen arc) if that's the guy that yuuta (in yui) marries in at the end of the webcomic so maybe, the author did intent on making the same ending as the webcomic but with a lot more details on who ended with who.

Hmm. This line - "You're not an honest boyfriend at all, are you?"
In russian version this line was translated from Japanese as "You're not honest with your boyfriend"
Well... it's a big difference

I really want to know about the exact translation of that "honest boyfriend" line, cause I always assumed when I read the raws that it was left intentionally ambiguous, and having the confirmation on just one line makes me curious if the implication there was meant to be the case. This ending is so brief and kind of nothing, that every line is kind of important. Can't help but want to double check.

Holy shit, that's too edgy for such a wholesome plot.
I'm glad the webcomic didn't do that, but the ending still felt rushed here.

Hard agree, I liked the manga up until the end. It felt so forced and while I understand that the life and death situation provided the clarity to realize they loved each other, it felt like it invalidated all the relationship drama that's happened so far.

@shoker if that's true, it make this ending even worse. Either it's a people pleaser or author change her/his mind midway.

It finally ends. So Yuuta still in Yui's body and vice versa. Nice

well that was an ending. wraps everything in a nice bow I guess.
I dunno how the both of them are going to deal with identity issues from now on though, you don't spend your entire adolescent life as someone of the opposite gender and not get effected personality wise.

but that's probably just me overthinking this romance drama. overall a neat read, had some nice moments.
