Honestly still can't get over how Yui suddenly loves Yuuta out of nowhere. Almost never seemed like she really cared about him. Although I don't really like her she would have been fine the way she was loving Kazuya. Honestly prefer the Wn ending, but overall still a good read. Brought the story down from a 9.5 to a 7.5

@Ryou Bro I loved those don't worry. Funny af

I only read the manga, and I think it's a trope where two childhood friends liked each other and everyone already knew it except for the couple in question. The way it was played in the climax was: since Yuuta already realized his feelings himself, Kazuma went all-in by confessing to Yui in order to make her realize who she loves more, Yuuta or Kazuma. And she chose Yuuta.

Hey mods. Comments about what happened in an alternate version of the manga before it was published are not spoilers. Seeing as this is the end of the series no-one reading the thread for the end of the manga is going to be spoiled.

Tbh, i think the two switching back is pretty ambiguous. Theres a good amount of arguments both sides, the 64 boyfriend thing isnt as solid as everyone thinks it is, it could also be translated as "youre not honest with your boyfriend". I think they still switched to their switched bodies as yui still acts out going and yuuta is more reserved. I still prefer if they got back into their original bodies as it fits the story better in my eyes, but honestly, just interpret it how you want, not an exact wrong answer here

Anyone who believes that they switched back, you can clearly see that the mother is more desensitized from the children crying. She doesn't run there an try to comfort the kids. The father is the one that bends down and emotionally connects with the kids.

That kind of tells me that they didn't switch back and that they accepted their fate and their roles.

It is a bit strange because the this opens up a whole can of questions about feelings and gender like: can you just be trained to love whatever?

Society definitely taught us that humans aren't that maluable.

So take this as the happy ending of a manga who tried to challenge the gender bender stereotypes but ended up becoming another stereotype for the sake of fictional response.

honestly this story is interesting a body swap story that took the concept seriously and explored it well. There were ups and downs but it is legit one of the best stories that I read.

The ending is a flop. They should've switched back to normal and stayed that way. Yui really doesn't seem to like staying as Yuuta (although it doesn't seem Yuuta minds it as much as her)
The story was great though.
