I was just checking in on this series earlier today. I thought the series wasn't gonna get any more tls. Thanks for subverting my expectation!

This chapter felt a long time coming! Finally some kind of backstory on Nemu, obviously someone as battle-hardened as her would have some juicy history!

The official is coming out in November, so there's still a few chapters to go before I stop.
However do note this is a monthly release because I need to wait for Japan to drop them first, so you're reading the latest chapter.

Thank you very much for the scanlation :meguuusad: (y)

I knew it was coming... But man... It still hurts to see. And that was a great way to portray Nemu's former team in such few pages.

It feels like a breath of fresh air to me, to see this kind of ruthlessness in a fantasy world, as weird as that may sound. I guess it's just my reading list is a bit saturated with feel good stories and power fantasies, and I just don't look for new manga to read in the same rhythm as before.

Edit: I don't think Sidi deserves to be kicked out... Yet, tbh. It's still too soon, and she has the right mindset to mature over this experience. But the shock of being expelled, even if to be brought back (since Nemu can afford to have Garen look out for her), is the best way for the lesson to stick. We still need to see how she's reacting to it, too.

Edit2: Almost forgot, small typo on page 15, "[...] where you can't even held your head high.", probably should be "[...] even hold your head high."

I think Sidi doesn't need to be fully kicked out. But, until he either learns not to yeet himself into dangerous situations on impulse like he just did, he needs to stay back at camp or something.

  • Physical pain from falling really hard
  • Emotional pain from failing your party
  • Spiritual pain from fumbling the bi-century moss
Sidi's really going through it. :notlikethis:
