If you guys didn't know, Cornub, YouCorn and R*dtube is now blocked in France.

For the french user out there who want to ..., just use a VPN.
There is a lot to choose.
You can use the one that most French Youtuber are sponsored with (and most of them has coupon code so don't make it waste).
Well, you will make them rich on the process but it is a win-win right?

Anyway, I wanted to know how a french MangaDex forums user feel about this. (allegedly @UnnamedPlayer )
Still, this situation raises some questions to my head:

• Will this happen to other French based country as well (former French-colony countries)? Probably not, but how knows?
• and will this applies to h*ntai sites as well in a near future?

Now that I am thinking about it, making a VPN that only has server in a poor country might be a good business idea.
I mean, as somebody who live in a poor country, i get no ads on Youtube (both web or mobile since it is not profitable), no gemini or ai features for those how want to, and plus I can access pretty much all of the corn website out there.

It won't happen in other french-speaking countries, it's only France because it's a national law and we don't have any autority on other french-speaking countries YET !

Hentai sites may be targeted, but it's not certain. Some where blocked a few years before, but it was a DNS block, any alternative DNS resolver was enough to bypass the blocking. And in Firefox, you have an option to do it natively. If hentai websites don't comply to the French governement, and they won't because they're not legal at all, the same solution of DNS blocking will be used and will be bypassed.

The response from YP, PH and RT where perfect, privacy is important and it was for the best. To compare, chaturbate now use an age-verification service after a first wave of legal battle against the site and a few other (YP, PH and RT are a second wave, a few other are coming). I'm pretty sure some data-leak will happen someday and they will be screwed.
